About the Lodge

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #50 is a not-for-profit organization that was established on October 20th, 1966. The Lodge was named in memory of Sergeant James S. Fogleman, of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, who lost his life in the line of duty on March 25th, 1963.

Jim Fogleman Lodge #50 is proud to be a part of the world's largest law enforcement organization with over 2,100 Lodges. From its inception in 1915, the Fraternal Order of Police has been defending the rights of Law Enforcement Professionals and ensuring that their voices are heard and their careers protected.

Jim Fogleman Lodge #50 is committed to improving the working conditions for law enforcement deputies and corrections deputies of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.  Over the years Lodge #50 has expanded to include all law enforcement and correctional agencies in Palm Beach County. We strive to support the professional men and woman of law enforcement and corrections through education, legislation, community involvement, and employee representation.

OUR MISSION & PURPOSE

This organization is formed for the mutual welfare of law enforcement and correctional officers, and the promotion of fraternal, charitable and social relations among its members, as well as the promotion of confidence, cooperation and harmony between this lodge and the general public and all public officials.

It shall be the duty of this lodge to further professionalize law enforcement and corrections and to encourage greater public support for law enforcement and corrections officers in the performance of their duties.
